White Forsythia (Abeliophyllum distichum)

White Forsythia is a graceful, deciduous shrub that brings a delicate display of beauty to your garden in early spring, with stunning clusters of fragrant, white star-shaped flowers that bloom on bare branches before the leaves emerge. This rare plant is ideal as a feature in small gardens, borders, or mixed shrub beds, thriving in full sun to partial shade and preferring cooler climates. It grows best in well-drained soil and benefits from a sheltered position to protect its early blooms from frost. Low-maintenance with pruning needed after flowering to maintain shape, White Forsythia reaches a height and spread of 11.5 m, making it a cherished addition to any garden.
